Business Development Manager

NMG, based in Newmarket, Ontario, is Canada's leading marketing group management company.  We are seeking a sales-oriented individual to assume the role of Business Development Manager within our lighting and electrical supplies group (SPECTRA) and industrial, construction and safety supply group (Indica).  The Business Development Manager will focus on adding new Members to these groups. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Achieve annual budgeted new Member additions
  • Make initial prospecting telephone contact with potential new Members
  • Present the group concept to prospects in person and/or over the telephone

Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Excellent communication abilities - telephone and in person
  • Proven ability to make cold-calls by phone to reach decision makers
  • Must be able to travel to USA frequently
  • Desire to thrive in a focused, hardworking environment
